My “Will” Be Done …

Alrighty now.  My will has been updated, signed and notarized.

Funny thing about actually writing the will.  It forces you to decide who gets what. 

I don’t have a lot.  I have some property, right about 3 acres all told, but in three different lots.  I have a couple pieces of jewlery that might be of some value, a few pieces of furniture that could draw 50 pounds on a BBC America auction show, but I’m not ‘wealthy’ by any means.

Putting my desires in writing is a bit on the flustering side.  I mean, trying not to show favoratism between my children is rough, but right now one has show himself to be a bit more responsible than the other.  When I say “a bit” I only mean “a bit.” Neither of them seem to have inherited their mother’s work ethic or bill paying skills. They seem to have been ‘blessed’ with the slacker gene from their father’s side. 

But, I’ll have all my stuff taken care of before next week.  I won’t worry about leaving bills, I do have life insurance and my bills won’t use it all.  So, hopefully, when I go in it will be relatively stress free.

Emanuel — Now There’s Change For Ya! LOL

Oh yea! Change, it was all about the “need” for change.  So the Big “O” appoints Emanuel as his Chief of Staff.

Oh gods!  I’m laughing so hard I may have a coronary!

President-elect Barack Obama’s newly appointed chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel, served on the board of directors of the federal mortgage firm Freddie Mac at a time when scandal was brewing at the troubled agency and the board failed to spot “red flags,” according to government reports reviewed by ABCNews.com.
