Free Speech — A Little Housekeeping

Well, I’m glad to see a few new faces playing along here.

In their honor let me share this.

I generally won’t edit comments. I reserve the right to do so, randomly, as my mood dictates, without concern for the posting’s creator. You don’t “own” this site. However, understand that I WILL delete language that I refuse to promote. This is usually the most foul of language, the “F” word, the “N” word, the “C” word, and such.

If you want to show the world what a dumb-ass you are by resorting to the juvenile behavior of calling someone a name, you have that right. If you aren’t intelligent enough to debate without calling someone a dick, penis, scrote, bitch, trollup – you get the idea – then by all means show your ignorance to the world.

I have several online friends who come from the polar opposite side of politics than I – JediJawa, Spike, and Paul, just to name three. We debate, we don’t call names like sixth graders.

You can debate like adults and you will gain credibility in the world or you can call names and cry like children and be laughed at.

Your choice.

  1. The “C” word…? “Conservative”?? ;)

By the way, top marks for “scrote”! I literally LOL’d. I’m going to do my level-best to use that in a sentence today!

    • “Conservative” is only a dirty word on Huffington Post or Err America type places. :)

I can’t take credit for scrote. It’s used in a comment the thread prompting my quick post.

  2. It has always amazed me that people who can’t defend their positions and feel backed into a corner are always the first to lob personal attacks and resort to name calling.

  3. I’m sorry for saying the ‘p’ word. I was just responding to that liberal Leon who was saying the ‘d’ word which I think is way worse, but I’m still sorry. Also, really like your blog. Keep it up!

    • My personal opinion — Don’t give anyone that much power over you.
