Ok, so I’m traveling for work and I purposely stop in South Charleston for lunch so I can use the free wi-fi the city is supposed to have. Well, where is it? I stopped at the same establishment I have in the past, ordered the same lunch items and plug into the converter to power up the old notebook … no signal.
Well, ok, there were two bars, but not enough to connect. So I spend 30 minutes moving around the parking log to no avail. “AH!!” I think. “I’ll go to the public library.” But, nope, nothing there either.
I did find a spot, but it isn’t in South Charleston. If any of you folk know if the Wi-Fi is out because of the storms, or if the city has shut it down, let me know. I don’t need to do this very often, but I will stop in town and SPEND MY MONEY to enjoy the ‘free’ service.
