I want to wish each and every person who reads my blog a wonderfully happy New Year!  I hope that 2008 ends up being your best year so far!

There are a ton of cliches’ and canned comments that come around this time of the year.  I hope to stay away from them.  2007 was a great learning year for me.  I got the shaft where I worked and told them to kiss off.  I started a business and have tried to take off on my own.  It isn’t working so well, but I’m learning a lot in the process.

I have a standing business that I’ve neglected for a couple years and I’m trying to push it now.  I’m taking baby steps but I’m learning to ’sell’ myself.

I’m going to spend the next couple days reworking my business goals, since the old ones haven’t panned out — yet.

I also hope to have a couple good posts on current events.  I’ve been very lacking in doing that recently.  I need to do a drive by of other blogs, I haven’t done that in a while.

So, it’s almost 7:30 January 1, 2008.  I need to hop in the shower and get going.  The goofing-off needs to stop.  LOL

Love you all — in the familial way!  Even those who disagree with me.  ;)  Let’s get this year off on a great note!
