AH! For a little levity we have the following:
There is a battle of the newspapers in Lincoln County between the Lincoln Journal and the Lincoln Standard. Having extended family in Lincoln County I try to check in and see how things are going from time to time. It’s a study in Southern WV Politics!

The following is a first person account of the discovery of an on-going investigation by the staff of The Lincoln Journal into my personal life and business activities of my landscaping company, Custom Surroundings.
These events were uncovered as they involved tapping into personal credit records, inquiries to the business credit agency Dunn and Bradstreet, and a Lincoln Journal employee posing with an alias in an attempt to obtain personal financial information.
Documentation that reveals the involvement of The Lincoln Journal, including Lyle Stowers spearheading this effort, is partially contained within this story.
The first odd occurrence happened in mid-October when a person called our main number and started asking personal questions about the owners of my landscaping company, Custom Surroundings. (Continued)
