And then there’s this.
What you have here is a picture of some Vote No folks in Sissonville behind some Vote Yes folks. The guy with the sash is dressed like Jesus and, if you look carefully, he is holding a Vote Yes sign.
<sigh>
Can’t we leave religion out of this? On both sides?

Agreed.
I’m one of the first people to get in line when it comes to putting down the religious right, but that isn’t even funny.
Perhaps because a person doesn’t have to be religious to see the ill effects gambling tends to have on a community.

I have to admit, whoever came up with the idea of Jesus pimping for the “yes” side must have a different thought process than I do. Having said that, for a lot of “no” people it’s been a religious issue from the get go, so it’s not too surprising that the other side would try and work that angle, too.
