Oh! Bring him on! I am so displeased with the offerings of the Republican Party so far. What I’ve seen of Thompson is encouraging.
His moves come as Republicans have failed to coalesce around a candidate, as they struggle with the war in Iraq, President Bush’s unpopularity and questions about the party’s ideological direction. That has created the potential for someone to fill a void in a campaign field that, judging by polls and other reaction, has left Republican voters wanting more.

You’se guys are the only one with his feeling. While the GOP is stuck with the Liberal Yankee, Sen. Crazypants, and Mr. Flip-flop, we have Darth Vader, the Noob, and the Underwear Model.
We, too, hope for a savior from Tennessee.

Now, now Chris. It isn’t nice to call Hillary “Darth Vader”.

But I hear that she once strangled an aide via teleconference just by using The Force.

BTW, to those not down with the online gaming slang, noob=newbie/newcomer.
That being said, his resume does look suspiciously similar to another bloke from Illinois.
