Not Big Brother — Big Mother
I am absolutley worn out but I have to say a couple words on this YouTube ad about Hillary Clinton … Right On!
Not because I support Obama, but because that is what this nation is becoming. The United States of America is becoming a nation of people who can’t or won’t think for themselves. And one of the most obvious examples is ….. Global Warming.
G-d help you if you even suggest that man’s contribution may be negligible. Oh — and don’t dare discount evolution or the Big Bang Theory.
We are slowly falling into the world of Marxism. Don’t believe me, start reading. Get yourself a copy of the Communist Manifesto and take a good look around. Government sponsored schools, government provided retirement, government provided wage standards, government provided medical programs … should I continue?
And don’t forget how we as a nation ended up with the gawd-awful HMO idea.
I love that video. If I thought it would help to open the eyes of the young people, not to vote for Obama, but to understand what Big Brother/Mother really is, I might consider donating to the Obama campaign.
Who ever came up with that video should be the most sought after individual in the U.S.

So I take it that you’re not a fan of socialism?
I have always thought of Marx as being a product of his time when labor laws where non-existent and the plight of the working class was truly abysmal. That middle of the 19th century time of industrial revolution and rapid development of the first world brought a new level of wealth and created the modern middle class that we know and so many people fall into today.
I sometimes wonder if Marx would have penned his Manifesto if he were writing it in 1948 as opposed to 1848 or even if he was living now? As an ideal Marxist Communism was a very revolutionary idea that sought to improve the lives of a mass of people who lived quiet lives of oppression and squalor under the thumbs of a wealthy class of overlords. When Marx’s ideas were put into practice they didn’t translate so well to the real world through Lenin, Stalin, Mao and others.
For what it’s worth, I don’t think that we’re really in any danger of becoming either a Marxist or Stalinist nation from the examples cited here. I think that I can see what you’re saying though and I respect your beliefs.
